As a Security Officer State Facility Full Time Patrol Response in Brooklyn, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism and clear communication. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government office location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including public entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notifying emergency services when appropriate.

Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
