The Finance Operations Associate will play a key role in supporting and influencing the operational and financial performance of the Healthcare business. This individual will partner closely with the Operations Leader and Operations Business Partners to deliver financial insights, operational reporting, process improvements, and actionable recommendations that drive informed decision-making.
Job Description
Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly financial forecast process through analysis and modeling including maintenance of existing tools and developing improved approaches
Own Industry Operations financial cadence, creating and managing content/analysis for the Industry and Enterprise leadership teams
Support sales analytics including standard reporting, predictive modeling, sales credit reporting and commission tracking.
Coordinate with and manage relationships with Enterprise functions to achieve business unit, Industry/capability, and Enterprise objectives, including HR Business Partners, Resource Management, Recruiting, Accounting, FP&A, and Analytics teams
Review reports and analysis with operations leadership and operations business partners. Develop recommendations and follow through on action plans based upon discussions
Monitor and action various expense categories and internal budgets to ensure adherence to planned annual spend
Support month end close process by providing accurate and timely information to support decision making and provide actionable insights for Operations Business Partners
Perform various ad hoc financial analysis and reporting or business support, as needed
Develop, document, maintain, and continuously improve operational procedures, playbooks, job aids, and process documentation to support consistency, scalability, knowledge transfer, and operational excellence across the business.
Knowledge, Skill, And Abilities:
2-5 years of finance and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (or some related field) required
Experience in the consulting or professional services industry is preferred
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt existing systems to fast-changing requirements
Strong financial management skills; knowledge of financial analysis and standard financial metrics
Exceptional client service skills and ability to proactively work with leadership to address challenges
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to communicate, influence and drive outcomes with individuals at all levels in the Company
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desire to improve and find efficiencies in existing processes
The ability to learn quickly, work independently and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in other Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).? Other analytics tools including Power BI, Workday (and Workday Adaptive) and CRM systems (Salesforce) is a plus
Experience creating and maintaining process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, job aids, and related knowledge management resources.
Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and productivity tools, including the ability to leverage AI to improve reporting, analysis, process efficiency, and decision-making; exposure to dashboard development and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) with the ability to build and maintain basic dashboards is preferred.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $75,000 - $100,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $86,250 - $115,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
