Robert Half is partnering with a construction services company seeking an Office Manager / Full-Charge Bookkeeper. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible role and take ownership of the accounting and administrative functions for a stable, employee-focused business.

The Office Manager will serve as the primary accounting and administrative professional within a small office environment, supporting multiple entities and working closely with ownership. This position offers a high degree of autonomy, variety, and long-term stability.

Responsibilities Include:

Full-cycle Accounts Payable, including vendor setup, W-9s, COIs, and 1099 processing

Accounts Receivable cash application and payment posting

Bank deposits and reconciliations across multiple accounts

Weekly payroll processing, payroll tax filings, and quarterly reporting

Job costing support and project-related accounting activities

Lien waiver administration

Assist with annual audits and year-end accounting processes

Coordinate with external CPA firm on tax and financial matters

Maintain accounting records and support day-to-day office operations

Provide administrative support and act as a key resource for field and office personnel

Requirements

3-5+ years of hands-on accounting, bookkeeping, or office management experience

Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits

Experience with AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping

Construction industry and job costing experience preferred

Experience with Foundation software is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
