This job is a member of the Global Sales team

You'll build meaningful relationships with some of American Airlines' largest corporate customers, gaining firsthand insight into their business priorities, challenges, and travel needs

You'll own and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, developing account plans, identifying growth opportunities, and driving results through strong customer engagement

You'll collaborate with leaders across Commercial and corporate teams to solve complex business challenges and deliver value for both our customers and American Airlines

What you'll do

Partner with corporate accounts to develop outcomes to benefit the customers of American Airlines when they fly

Analyzes customer needs through both online and in-person meetings with corporate partners

Coordinates and implements programs with appropriate field and staff departments

Prepares correspondence, proposals and presentations to support retailing activity

Communicates updates on AA products and services as needed

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

3+ years experience working in Sales, Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis or other airline commercial teams

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

?Airline or business to business sales experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders

?Ability to operate in a highly competitive, demanding environment

Ability to communicate to high level executives

Strong account strategy development and execution skills required

Understanding of modern retailing approaches and strategies

Understanding of modern airline distribution technology such as NDC, online booking tools, GDSs
