Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
The Material Handler receives, processes, and moves electronic devices and materials throughout a climate-controlled warehouse using RF scanners and material handling equipment. This role supports the full lifecycle of electronics handling, including receiving, sorting, staging, light assembly, refurbishment support, and outbound shipping. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to quality and safety procedures, and effective collaboration with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Responsibilities
Receive, scan, and process incoming electronic devices and materials using RF scanners.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Move inventory throughout the facility using pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
Pick, pack, and ship products accurately to meet customer and production requirements.
Unpackage, sort, and stage electronics for testing, repair, or refurbishment processes.
Assist with light assembly, device refurbishment, or cleaning as required by the department.
Operate or support testing equipment for consumer electronics when needed.
Build boxes, label shipments, and prepare items for outbound distribution.
Maintain accurate inventory tracking and assist with regular cycle counts.
Follow strict quality, safety, and data-handling procedures at all times.
Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production and shipping targets.
Perform general labor and production tasks related to material handling, picking, loading, and packaging.
Essential Skills
Experience with material handling in a warehouse or production environment.
Ability to use RF scanners to receive, scan, and process incoming electronic devices and materials.
Ability to safely load and unload trucks and move inventory using pallet jacks or similar equipment.
Proficiency in picking, packing, and packaging products accurately.
Comfort working with consumer electronics, including unpackaging, sorting, and staging for testing, repair, or refurbishment.
Capability to assist with light assembly, device refurbishment, or cleaning tasks.
Ability to build boxes, label shipments, and prepare items for outbound distribution.
Experience maintaining accurate inventory records and participating in cycle counts.
Strong commitment to following quality, safety, and data-handling procedures.
Ability to keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Ability to stand and move for extended periods during shifts.
Comfort performing repetitive tasks such as sorting, scanning, and packaging.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience operating or supporting testing equipment for consumer electronics.
Experience in general labor or production work in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Familiarity with loading, picking, and packaging workflows.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively to meet shared goals.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.

Work Environment
Located in Fenton, MO. Shift times: 6am-2:45, M-F with a 45-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. The role is based in a climate-controlled warehouse environment focused on handling and processing electronic devices. Team members work with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools to move inventory safely and efficiently. The work involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks in a clean, organized, and safety-conscious facility.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fenton, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
