Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel. Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate.
Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate.
Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems.
Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching.
Administers and controls narcotics and medications accurately and in a timely manner. Signs out narcotics as per hospital policy.
Job Requirements
Required
1 year or equivalent hours of critical care (ICU or ER) experience within the last 3 years
Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
Preferred
Bachelors Of Science Nursing and 1-3 years More than 2 years of Acute Care RN experience, upon hire

$66.50 - $84.82 /hour
