JOB REQUIREMENTS: This is a full-time position directly attached to the Executive Director and Associate Director(s) responsible for assisting with effective management and administration of the agency This position supports the administration of the agency by performing special assignments and projects that may or may not be regularly occurring events Assist with carrying out the requirements of agency programs as required Coordinate and attend various committee meetings, prepare minutes, and distribute Typing correspondence, memos, proposals, vouchers and all confidential materials; internal records, detailed reports, meeting agendas, transcription duties, photocopying; schedule appointments and meeting/hotel reservations; maintain calendar Plan, coordinate and write grant proposals for funding of the agency\'s programs and operations Assist with the preparation of reports and special requests for information Perform other duties as required ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Degree preferred plus at least two years\' experience in administrative/support in a business office required Grant writing experience is preferred Human Resources experience helpful Knowledge and sensitivity of low-income concerns and related resources available Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to exercise good judgment, and maintain confidentiality Computer skills required for word processing, spreadsheets, data analysis, Internet research and electronic communication Must be willing to learn and utilize multiple database systems. Must have the ability to work independently, in a team environment, and with the public Must be detailed oriented with the ability to keep accurate records Must exhibit self-initiative with strong organizational and problem-solving skills Knowledge of clerical and record keeping practices, office procedures, equipment, and basic math Comprehend and follow oral as well as written directions and give the same Ability to plan, coordinate, manage and lead projects involving other staff and external resources Ability to comprehend and interpret all aspects of the agency\'s programs and operations Must have valid driver\'s license and insured vehicle ** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Mail a Rsum: Attn: Fred Hebert CWCAC, Inc.
