Robert Half Legal is partnering with a well-established and highly respected Seattle-based law firm in search of a Litigation Paralegal to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys managing complex litigation matters, working with sophisticated clients, and leveraging technology to support all phases of the litigation process.

The firm's litigation practice handles a broad range of matters, including real estate and construction disputes, complex commercial litigation, contract disputes, and professional liability defense throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.

This role offers significant responsibility, exposure to interesting and challenging cases, and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of attorneys and legal professionals in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & E-Discovery Management

Manage large-scale discovery and ESI projects from collection through production

Conduct client data collection and custodian outreach

Assist with document review, responsiveness determinations, and privilege analysis

Perform complex searches and identify key evidence

Organize, maintain, and manage electronic and physical case files

Coordinate and execute document productions in a variety of formats

Utilize e-discovery platforms, including Everlaw or similar tools

Litigation & Trial Support

Assist attorneys with all phases of trial preparation

Prepare and organize trial exhibits, witness files, and case materials

Support courtroom presentations and trial logistics as needed

Depositions & Case Development

Prepare deposition exhibits and materials

Draft deposition summaries and analyze testimony

Assist with fact investigation and development

Create and maintain detailed case chronologies and litigation timelines

Research & Investigation

Conduct investigative research regarding businesses and individuals, including asset searches, litigation history, and background investigations

Support case strategy through factual and documentary research

Coordinate witness and expert witness information and materials

Additional Responsibilities

Support ongoing initiatives within the litigation practice group

Participate in team and firm meetings as needed

Delegate and coordinate administrative tasks with legal support staff

Assist with additional litigation-related projects as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience

Experience supporting complex civil litigation matters

Strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle and court procedures

Hands-on experience managing electronic discovery and document databases

Experience with Everlaw or similar e-discovery platforms strongly preferred

Interest in emerging legal technologies, including Generative AI applications within litigation workflows

Exceptional organizational and project management skills

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
