Job Title: 3rd Shift Electrical Wiring Technician Job Description
The 3rd Shift Electrical Wiring Technician plays a key role in assembling and wiring electrical circuits within a large, clean manufacturing facility. Working from 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., this technician reads and interprets electrical blueprints and schematics, performs point-to-point wiring, and ensures all work meets established quality standards.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to complete wiring and assembly tasks.
Perform point-to-point wiring using crimp connectors on wire ends to build and connect electrical circuits.
Cut, strip, bend, and form wire cable, conduit pipe, and tubing to connect circuits and sub-assemblies according to specifications.
Assemble wiring circuits and sub-assemblies while following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Work with AC and DC wiring, motor controls, and circuit breakers as part of daily assembly and wiring activities.
Conduct self quality checks on completed wiring and assemblies to ensure they meet Quality Control standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all facility safety and operational protocols.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve wiring or assembly issues promptly.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and efficiently interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
Hands-on experience working with both AC and DC wiring and understanding the differences between them.
Proficiency in point-to-point wiring using crimp connectors on wire ends.
Strong electrical wiring and electrical assembly skills in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Attention to detail and ability to perform accurate self quality checks on completed work.
Ability to work reliably on 3rd shift from 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with motor controls and circuit breakers in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with conduit pipe and tubing preparation, including cutting, stripping, bending, and forming.
Comfort working from detailed electrical blueprints and schematic documentation.
Ability to work effectively in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
Willingness to follow established quality and safety standards consistently.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large manufacturing facility that is clean, well lit, and organized to support safe and efficient work. Multiple shifts are available within the facility, including 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and 3rd shift from 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with a shift differential offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Work involves hands-on electrical wiring and assembly, regular use of schematics and blueprints, and interaction with motor controls, circuit breakers, and conduit. The environment supports consistent production while maintaining high standards for cleanliness, lighting, and safety.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
They offer 3 different benefit packages for health/dental/vision, match 50% of what you contribute to your 401k up to 8% (they'd match 4), offer 3 food trucks on site Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday for all employees, paid holidays, financial advisor and health coach available. PTO Schedule: 0-4 years = 10 Days. 5-14 years = 15 days. 15-19 years = 20 days. 20-29 years = 25 days. If needing to use pto for more than 3 days at a time, must be submitted before 2 weeks of timeframe.
