Manufacturing Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our growing production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PCB assembly, soldering, blueprint reading, and electronic manufacturing processes . This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs), wiring harnesses, and electronic components according to specifications.

Perform precision soldering of wires, connectors, and electronic components.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.

Troubleshoot assembly issues and recommend corrective actions.

Support production goals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

Assist with training new employees on assembly techniques, soldering methods, and production processes as needed.

Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

2+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or a related manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in hand soldering and electronic component assembly.

Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.

Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Work Environment

Work takes place from 7 AM to 3 PM in a clean, well-lit, and organized manufacturing floor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Lyme, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
