Job Title: Packaging EngineerJob Description

Responsible for the design, development, and processing of implant and instrument packaging under the direction of a project leader or manager.

Responsibilities

Design products for manufacturability, inspectability, and optimum cost.

Generate proto@type models to evaluate new design concepts.

Coordinate product evaluations with surgeons.

Develop protocols for product testing and analysis.

Generate design assurance documentation for assigned projects.

Essential Skills

Design for manufacturability, inspectability, and cost optimization.

Proto@type development and evaluation.

Product testing and analysis.

Design assurance documentation.

Collaboration with surgeons and cross-functional teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

B.S. in Packaging Science or Engineering required.

0-1 years of experience required.

Experience within the medical device industry.

Work Environment

100% onsite in Warsaw, with standard first shift hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Warsaw, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $44.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
