As a Security Officer Access Control Clearance Required in Roy, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.62 / Hour

Day Time

Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalation procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, document visitor and contractor activity, and report irregularities to appropriate site contacts.

Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
