As a Armed Security Officer - Platform in Englewood, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist passengers, employees, and visitors with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Day Time

Mon01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Tue01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Wed01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Thur01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Fri01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support and/or emergency services as appropriate.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.

Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
