Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative-Commercial Construction to join our team in Pittsburgh, United States! In this role, you'll be the face of our organization, building meaningful relationships with customers and driving profitable sales growth. You'll combine your sales expertise with a customer-first mindset to identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and exceed sales targets. Generate new business and expand existing customer relationships by identifying sales opportunities and presenting compelling product solutions tailored to customer needs
Conduct product demonstrations and effectively communicate features, benefits, and applications to prospective and existing customers
Develop and execute strategic sales plans in assigned territory, collaborating with leadership and team members to implement market strategies and drive revenue growth
Analyze customer operations and requirements to understand their business objectives and recommend customized solutions that address their specific challenges
Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, call schedules, and expense reports using company systems and tools
Coordinate with internal specialists, suppliers, and vendors to support product quotations, resolve technical questions, and facilitate the customer purchasing lifecycle
Work collaboratively with management and credit teams to address payment issues promptly and professionally
Gather and report competitive intelligence, market trends, pricing information, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making
Actively participate in professional development opportunities, training programs, supplier seminars, and sales meetings to enhance product knowledge and refine selling skills
Utilize company digital tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems to streamline sales processes and gain competitive advantage
Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals and team success
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
3+ years of sales experience or related industry experience
Proven ability to manage territory independently and achieve sales targets
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Experience with CRM systems and ERP platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
