Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a mission-driven non-profit organization in Racine, Wisconsin. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, managing customer interactions with professionalism, and ensuring orders are handled accurately from start to finish. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for incoming inquiries while contributing to a responsive and service-focused team environment.

Responsibilities:

Respond to incoming customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.

Assist customers with questions, service needs, and general support requests in a fast-paced call center setting.

Enter and update order details accurately to ensure timely processing and fulfillment.

Handle a mix of inbound and outbound calls to support customer follow-up and issue resolution.

Document customer interactions thoroughly to maintain accurate service records.

Resolve routine concerns efficiently and escalate more complex matters when appropriate.

Provide a high standard of service that reflects the values of a non-profit organization.

Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth daily operations and consistent customer support. Requirements - Previous experience in customer service or a call center environment.

Ability to manage inbound calls while maintaining a detail-oriented and courteous approach.

Experience with order entry and accurate data input.

Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.

Comfortable handling both inbound and outbound customer interactions.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
