Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Full-time on-site role in Northridge, CA
Researches, plans, designs, verifies, validates and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems, such as metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, resonance, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs.
May be responsible for the transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years' relevant experience in a regulated industry or Advanced degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in a regulated industry
Fixture design, deployment and validation on the manufacturing line required
Experience with manufacturing line validation (DOE, Process development, IQ/OQ/PQ)
Solid Works / CAD Modeling
Ability to travel 20 - 30% domestic and international
Nice To Have:
Medical device or Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
Ability to plan and execute with speed and accuracy
Statistical analysis knowledge
Project Management experience
Experience with mechanical assembly equipment such as staking, adhesive dispense, electrical functional test equipment

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$87,000.00 - $149,000.00
For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $97,000 - $165,000 USD.
Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others)
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
