Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data-driven solutions sector, is seeking a Data Science Lead/Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Data Science Lead/Manager, you will be part of the Data Analytics Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and innovative problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Science Lead/Manager

Location: Alameda, CA (Onsite)

What's the Job?

Lead and develop a high-performing team of Data Scientists and Product Analysts to drive strategic initiatives.

Direct multidisciplinary teams including data scientists, product analysts, analytics engineers, and platform specialists.

Define team structure, hiring plans, and skills development strategies to foster growth and excellence.

Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability mechanisms to ensure team success.

Coach team members, conduct performance reviews, and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation.

What's Needed?

Proven experience leading data science and analytics teams in a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of predictive modeling, AI, and analytics tools and techniques.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate analytics work into measurable business outcomes.

Experience working in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams with a focus on innovation.
