Barnes Aerospace has an exciting career opportunity for a Production Expeditor/Planning Assistant. The candidate will be responsible to help to expedite product on the shop floor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery requirements are met. Core Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Communicates and works with the respective department personnel to ensure critical parts are expedited through the required processes.

Support shop floor planning in the movement of parts from one work center to another.

Review system requirements and plan part flow accordingly.

Support stores, operations and shipping.

Provide delivery promises, expedite tool repairs and ascertain availability of material, on as-needed basis.

Expedite outside processing (OSP).

Maintains positive working relationships.

Perform all other similar and/or related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment with material handling experience, preferably for an aerospace organization.

Forklift licensed with experience using a hand forklift and crane.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move parts throughout plant.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office software program. Ability to be trained in usage of manufacturing applications.

Excellent responsiveness and customer focus

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
