We're seeking a Operations Manager Direct Hire position to work at an international organization with a strong presence across multiple markets. This managerial-level role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale operations, drive strategic initiatives, and oversee high-performing teams within a complex and highly regulated environment. Location: Puerto Rico (Relocation Assistance Available)
Open to candidates outside the US Territory who are available to relocate
Salary Range: USD $175,000 + by experience plus comprehensive benefits
Shift: Administrative - with work schedule flexibility as required to support 24/7 operations, requiring occasional after-hours engineering coverage.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Graduate degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Strategic Management, or a related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 6 years in leadership roles managing teams and operations.
Experience overseeing engineering, infrastructure, or large-scale operational projects
Strong leadership, organizational, project management, negotiation, and change management skills.
Experience working in regulated environments and commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for operational teams across multiple locations.
Ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and high-performing operations while maintaining compliance with company standards and procedures.
Manage operational and capital budgets, driving cost optimization and service excellence.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and operational transformation projects.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
Foster a culture of safety, compliance, accountability, and professional development.
Serve as a key liaison with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders as required.
Ensure exceptional service delivery and performance standards across all areas of responsibility.
