Description

We are looking for a tech savvy PART TIME Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for an insurance organization in Des Plaines, Illinois. This is a Contract position offering flexible scheduling of up to 25 hours per week during regular business hours, with the potential to continue long term or lead to a permanent opportunity. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with digital tools, manages information accurately, and provides dependable administrative support across multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:

Enter, update, and maintain business records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Review contracts and related documents to confirm information is complete and properly organized.

Assist with preparing and checking insurance quotes to support the team's quotation process.

Handle inbound calls professionally, direct inquiries appropriately, and provide general front-desk support when needed.

Use office technology and digital tools effectively to complete assignments and support changing business needs.

Requirements

Prior experience in an administrative support, office assistant, or customer service capacity.

Strong data entry skills with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable reviewing documents and identifying missing or inconsistent information.

Ability to communicate professionally when answering inbound calls and assisting internal or external contacts.

Proficiency with common office software and general comfort learning new systems and tools.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities during part-time business hours.

Experience supporting insurance-related documentation or quotations is preferred.
