Warehouse Worker Job Opportunity
The Warehouse Worker plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by receiving and inspecting inbound shipments, accurately picking and packing orders, and preparing products for timely shipment. This position helps maintain organized inventory, supports safe equipment use, and contributes to a clean, efficient, and safety-focused work environment.
Responsibilities
Receive and inspect inbound shipments by unloading trucks, verifying quantities against documentation, checking for damage, and accurately processing inventory into the warehouse system.
Pick orders accurately by following order sheets or handheld scanner instructions, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
Prepare customer orders for shipment by packing products securely, labeling packages correctly, and meeting carrier and shipping requirements.
Support inventory management by assisting with regular cycle counts, helping with stock rotation, and keeping storage areas clearly labeled and organized.
Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse tools safely and efficiently after receiving proper training.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area by following housekeeping standards and promptly addressing debris, spills, or obstructions.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and safe equipment handling.
Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed, such as loading and unloading materials, staging orders, and reorganizing stock to optimize space and workflow.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Essential Skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail to ensure correct items, quantities, and labels during receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions safely.
Comfort using handheld RF scanners, tablets, or basic warehouse software to process and track inventory.
Reliable team collaboration skills, including clear communication and consistent attendance.
Willingness to safely operate pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse tools after training.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior warehouse, fulfillment, or general labor experience is helpful but not required.
Experience with order picking, packing, and shipping processes is an asset.
Familiarity with RF scanners and order-picking technology is beneficial.
Experience with material handling tasks such as loading, unloading, and palletizing is a plus.
Comfort working with inventory systems, stock rotation, and basic record keeping is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
