Job Description
A leading global financial services firm is looking for a Senior Product Designer to help modernize the internal technology that supports some of its most important business functions. This organization operates at the intersection of sophisticated financial advisory services and technology, supporting high-stakes transactions and complex workflows for teams around the world. In this role, you'll serve as the design lead for a suite of business-critical internal products, including a high-priority CRM platform supporting advisory teams. Reporting to the Program Manager for Investment Banking IT, you'll own the design process from discovery and research through final implementation while also providing mentorship and guidance to a small team of researchers and designers. This is a true player-coach opportunity where you'll remain deeply hands-on in the craft while helping establish the design standards and practices for the broader organization.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of professional Product Design or UX Design experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating enterprise-grade products, particularly complex data environments, internal systems, or business-critical applications
Financial services experience strongly preferred
Deep experience with UX Research and data-driven product design, including establishing practices to measure adoption and inform product decisions
Advanced proficiency with modern design and collaboration tools such as Figma and Miro
Strong understanding of user-centered design, journey mapping, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, and design systems
Experience owning the end-to-end design lifecycle from initial discovery through development handoff and implementation
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to confidently present and defend design decisions to senior executives and cross-functional partners
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across Technology, Data, Product, and business teams
Ability to work during core U.S. East Coast business hours and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience designing internal tools or workflow-heavy enterprise applications
Previous experience working with CRM platforms, Salesforce, or other complex business systems
Experience managing, mentoring, or providing design direction to other designers and UX researchers
Strong understanding of data visualization and designing experiences for data-intensive environments
Experience establishing UX standards, documentation, and scalable design processes
Background working in investment banking, financial services, consulting, or other highly regulated industries
Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Change Management teams throughout implementation
Comfortable operating as both a hands-on designer and strategic design leader
Strong systems thinker who can identify opportunities to improve experiences across an entire product ecosystem
What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities
Lead the design strategy for internal Investment Banking technology and business-critical systems
Own the end-to-end design process from discovery and user research through journey mapping, prototyping, usability testing, and final development handoff
Design intuitive experiences for complex workflows and data-heavy applications used by sophisticated financial professionals
Serve as the design lead for a high-priority CRM platform and related product initiatives
Manage and mentor a small team of UX researchers and designers, providing feedback, guidance, and professional development
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Change Management teams to align user needs with technical feasibility and business objectives
Conduct user research and translate findings into actionable product and design recommendations
Establish and maintain UX standards, documentation, and processes that improve consistency across the department
Develop journey maps, wireframes, proto@types, and high-fidelity designs that communicate solutions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
Establish data and measurement practices that track feature adoption and provide insights to inform future product roadmaps
Present design concepts and recommendations to senior executives and cross-functional leadership
Continuously identify opportunities to improve platform adoption, operational efficiency, and the overall user experience for internal banking teams
