Summary of Role:

Start your career with GlobalFoundries as a Manufacturing Operator! You will be a part of a team making technology that is used in cellphones, computers, tablets, vehicles and more! Our operators work on our toolsets and equipment through computers and modules. This position is highly important to ensure the production of our microelectronic chips. Location: Essex Junction, VT

Night Shift Hourly Rate: $23.63/hour (includes shift differential!)

Night Shift Sign-on Bonus: $5,000

Night Shift: 7:00pm to 7:00am

Day Shift Hourly Rate: $21/hour

Day Shift Sign-on Bonus: $2,500

Day Shift 7:00am to 7:00pm

Schedules: Work approximately 14 Days per Month! Occasional overtime available!

Essential Responsibilities:

Work in a clean room environment wearing a clean room suit and gloves

Sustain and run the manufacturing floor

Set up and operate equipment per Standard Operating Procedures

Work in a team environment to meet production goals

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Other responsibilities as assigned by manager

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Language Fluency - English (both Written & Verbal)

Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)

Must be comfortable wearing a clean room uniform

Ability to comply with all GlobalFoundries pre-employment screening requirements Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift

Must have basic computer and email skills

Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to receive and follow instructions

Ability to find information in a spreadsheet or on a website

Strong attention to detail

Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting

Expected Salary Range

$35,400.00 - $55,300.00
