This position requires an employee to be onsite at 3200 Labore Rd, Ste 104, Vadnais Heights, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.

Telework (https://mn.gov/mmb-stat/policies/1422-telework.pdf) is available on a limited basis.

Only candidates residing in Minnesota or a state bordering Minnesota (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin) within 50 miles of the work address listed above are eligible for telework.

Candidates residing in Minnesota and more than 50 miles from the primary/principal work address above may be eligible to telework more than 50%.

Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking a Classification & Compensation Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will provide professional human resources services and technical guidance to managers and HR partners across the agency. You will develop formal classification determinations, conduct internal equity analyses to promote pay parity, and design, administer, and/or participate in job classification projects, initiatives, and studies. You will also provide strategic planning and guidance to agency managers and supervisors on job classification matters, including workforce planning. Success in this role requires a relationship-driven approach and the ability to build strong partnerships with hiring managers, HR professionals, and other stakeholders. You will serve as a trusted resource, providing expertise and practical guidance to support the agency's workforce needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of Human Resources experience conducting job analysis, compensation analysis, and/or classification analysis for positions in a variety of classification and levels.

*Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Management, or other closely related field as determined by the agency may substitute one (1) year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience interpreting current employment laws, regulations, and policies related to classification, recruitment, selection, hiring, promotion, and/or retention of employees

Experience conducting public sector job analysis/classification

Experience contributing to HR projects, process improvements, or change management initiatives
