The Opportunity - Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and accountability for the Engineering organization during a period of significant expansion.
Assess and develop the engineering team, clarify roles, build talent, and implement strong processes, systems, and standards for future growth.
Partner with Manufacturing and Operations to resolve production challenges, lead process improvements, and ensure engineering solutions are practical and scalable.
Oversee engineering activities for new product launches, manufacturing readiness, equipment implementation, and process changes.
Foster a culture of problem-solving, technical discipline, and operational excellence.
Collaborate across departments-Production, Operations, Quality, Sales, and Planning-to support company-wide objectives and generate measurable improvements.
Transform weak systems and workflows into robust, standardized, high-performing processes.
Establish and track metrics for engineering performance, productivity, quality, and project execution.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related technical field).
Significant engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to develop engineers and technical talent; build organizational structure for growth.
Strong background in manufacturing processes, process improvement, production flow, and quality systems.
Hands-on leader comfortable with both strategic planning and working on the production floor.
Experience with process improvement, root-cause analysis, and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
Confident collaborating with leaders from Production, Operations, Quality, and across the organization.
Strong analytical, project management, communication, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated history of delivering measurable operational improvements.
Experience in complex industrial manufacturing or precision sheet metal fabrication is strongly preferred.
Experience scaling engineering infrastructure, driving standards and KPIs, and supporting new technology/equipment introduction.

Work Environment
You'll split your time between office and active manufacturing environments. Regular presence on the factory floor is expected, partnering with technical teams to understand challenges, evaluate improvements, and drive performance.
