Construction QA Manager

Our client, a leader in industrial construction and project management, is seeking a Construction QA Manager to join their team. As a Construction QA Manager, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting large-scale industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Lead and manage the site quality assurance program, including planning, oversight of surveillance, audits, inspections, and verification activities.

Direct, mentor, and evaluate discipline QA leads and inspectors to ensure qualification and performance standards are met.

Serve as the primary QA interface with construction management, engineering, commissioning, and contractor teams to communicate quality status and resolve systemic issues.

Oversee identification, documentation, trending, and resolution of nonconformances, ensuring root-cause analysis and effective corrective actions.

Review and approve quality documentation packages, audit reports, and turnover deliverables for compliance and accuracy.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 15 years' quality experience on large-scale industrial projects, with at least 5 years in a QA leadership or site quality management role.

Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplined quality teams and interpret technical documents and project quality requirements.

Advanced knowledge of quality assurance/quality management systems and construction codes and standards applicable to multi-discipline industrial construction.

Proven ability to investigate, trend, and resolve complex or systemic quality issues, and drive corrective/preventive actions.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to operate effectively under tight timelines and high-pressure situations.
