Account Manager

Description We are looking for a customer-focused Account Manager to support client relationships and day-to-day service operations. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can balance account coordination, cross-functional communication, and responsive problem-solving in a fast-paced B2B environment. The person in this role will partner closely with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver a high standard of service and help strengthen long-term customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Oversee assigned customer accounts to maintain strong service levels, consistent follow-through, and efficient account performance.

Respond to client questions and requests with professionalism, urgency, and clear communication.

Coordinate customer specifications and order-related details in alignment with established sales and operations procedures.

Partner with supply chain teams to help ensure products are delivered on schedule and customer expectations are met.

Support the sales process by assisting with account onboarding, retention efforts, customer reviews, and reporting needs.

Work with accounting and finance teams to help resolve claims and support credit setup for new and existing customers.

Investigate customer concerns and sales-related issues, then drive practical solutions that address root causes and improve outcomes.

Contribute to a collaborative team environment while reinforcing a strong service mindset and attention to deadlines.

Help document client service best practices as well as issues related to product safety or quality, and provide cross-departmental support to keep service workflows moving effectively. Requirements - Experience in account management, customer service, or a similar client-facing business role.

Background supporting B2B customers with a strong emphasis on relationship management and service quality.

Ability to work effectively with internal teams such as sales, supply chain, accounting, and finance.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage inbound inquiries professionally.

Comfortable preparing reports, spreadsheets, and basic account analysis to support business decisions.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complaints and resolve account issues proactively.

Experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment. TalentMatch®
