Job Duties:Performs complex administrative support work. Work involves providing administrative support including disseminating information; assisting with maintaining filing systems; and preparing and editing reports and documents. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.You'd be a GOOD fit if:You graduated from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED. You have two years full-time, wage-earning customer service, clerical, secretarial, administrative support, or technical program support experience.You have computer operations experience.You'd be a GREAT fit if:You have knowledge of office practices and proceduresYou have knowledge of business terminology, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.You have knowledge of agency and departmental organization structure, policies, procedures, rules and regulations preferred.You have the skills to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.You have the skills to coordinate with staff, officials, agencies, and the public.You have the skills to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.You have the skills in the use of computers and related equipment in a stand-alone or local area network environment.You have the skill to prepare and maintain accurate records, files, and reports.You have the skill to @type 45 works per minute (with no more than 10 errors).
