Human Resource Manager
Major Duties:
Job advertisements for vacant positions
Orientation of new FPHA employees
Responsible for references and background checks
Ensures that FPHA procedures comply with employment regulations
Provide day-to-day administrative support functions to the Executive Director
Interpret, assist and advise employees and supervisors regarding HR procedures and policies within the specified guidelines of the Executive Director
Establish and organize FPHA records and ensure complete accuracy, confidentiality and security
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication skills: Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in written communications
Strong negotiation skills with ability to influence while preserving professional integrity
Must have through understanding of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Housing Quality Standards, as well as that of the FPHA
Professional demeanor and appearance. Ability to work with individuals and groups to advance the quality and quantity of work and professionalism of the FPHA services
Excellent customer service skills with strong listening and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in human resources or business management or (2) years of work experience in a related field.
