Job Description
The Warehouse Lead supports data center operations by overseeing all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials. This role coordinates daily logistics operations, leads a team of material handlers and logistics personnel, and ensures inventory accuracy, safe material movement, and efficient processes. The Warehouse Lead serves as a key liaison between warehouse employees, supervisors, and customers while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily warehouse and logistics operations to support data center material flow, including receiving, storing, and shipping activities.
Lead and support warehouse associates in their day-to-day tasks, providing clear direction and guidance.
Assign work priorities, schedule tasks, and ensure completion of all planned warehouse activities within established timelines.
Monitor employee productivity and adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to warehouse staff to build skills, improve performance, and support professional development.
Promote accountability, attendance, and performance standards across the warehouse team.
Ensure accurate inventory management and material tracking using warehouse management systems and related tools.
Support safe material movement, including oversight of forklifts, electric carts, and pallet jacks, and reinforce safety protocols.
Act as a liaison between warehouse employees, supervisors, and customers, maintaining clear communication and strong working relationships.
Respond to customer inquiries related to logistics and planning, providing timely resolutions and professional service.
Use Word, Excel, and Outlook to track, analyze, and report on warehouse activities, with a strong emphasis on Excel-based reporting.
Adapt to changing operational needs and priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Multitask effectively while handling multiple assignments and shifting demands throughout the shift.
Support the handling and movement of high-value server equipment with care and attention to detail.
Perform job duties that may require typing, talking, and lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Essential Skills
Proven ability to lead and support warehouse associates in daily operations.
Experience assigning work priorities and ensuring completion of scheduled warehouse activities.
Demonstrated capability to monitor employee productivity and enforce company policies and performance standards.
Experience providing training, coaching, and mentoring to warehouse staff.
Strong customer service back ground in logistics or planning, with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues quickly.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse work.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a strong emphasis on using Excel for tracking and analysis.
Ability to work effectively in an ever-changing, high-pressure environment.
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Experience working around forklifts, electric carts, and pallet jacks and observing safe operating practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
Knowledge of advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables is a plus.
back ground in supporting data center operations or handling high-value technical equipment is beneficial.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment with significant walking.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and inventory tracking.

Work Environment
This role is based in a large data center and warehouse environment with a fast-paced operational tempo. You can expect significant walking throughout the shift as you move between storage areas, receiving docks, and shipping zones. The facility is climate-controlled and safety-focused, with established procedures for handling high-value server equipment and working around forklifts, electric carts, and pallet jacks. The standard shift schedule runs Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering consistent daytime hours in a structured warehouse setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $63540.00 - $63544.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
