Job Title: Warehouse Specialist Job Description
The Warehouse Specialist efficiently supports daily warehouse operations by handling incoming and outgoing customer orders, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on safe equipment operation, precise order picking, and reliable shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate service.
Responsibilities
Receive and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
Unload and load trucks safely using appropriate material handling equipment.
Perform material handling tasks, including moving, staging, and organizing products in the warehouse.
Pick orders accurately according to pick lists or system instructions.
Conduct inventory activities, including counting, tracking, and verifying stock levels.
Operate forklifts, reach lifts, reach trucks, high reach trucks, and high reach forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
Use cherry pickers to access and retrieve products stored at various heights.
Follow established shipping and receiving procedures to ensure correct documentation and labeling.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards.
Pay close attention to detail to minimize errors in picking, shipping, and inventory tasks.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and quality goals.
Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies promptly.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order picking, and material handling.
Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach lifts, reach trucks, high reach trucks, and high reach forklifts.
Experience using a cherry picker for order picking and material handling.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in orders and inventory.
Ability to safely load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Reliability and consistency in following processes and safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience with cherry picker operations.
Experience with reach lift and related high-reach equipment.
Comfort working within a small team environment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse environment that is not temperature controlled, so conditions may vary with the seasons. The team is small, with a total headcount of approximately five employees, fostering close collaboration and a strong team-oriented culture. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., supporting a predictable daytime schedule. The position involves frequent use of material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach lifts, high reach trucks, and cherry pickers, as well as regular loading and unloading of trucks and order picking activities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
