As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Log in Wilmington, DE , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Thur05:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri05:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, attorneys, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Serve as a professional front-desk presence in a commercial office setting, greeting visitors, verifying appointments, and directing guests to appropriate areas.

Monitor building access, maintain visitor logs, issue temporary credentials as authorized, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying emergency services and/or site contacts when appropriate.

Answer phones, manage incoming deliveries and service-provider arrivals, and support security-related communications from the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
