As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and manufacturing professionals to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and improve sophisticated mechanical and electro-mechanical systems used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
What You'll Do
Assemble, wire, inspect, test, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
Perform mechanical and electrical testing to ensure systems meet quality, safety, and performance requirements.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues using blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and test equipment.
Support manufacturing operations from assembly through final testing.
Participate in proto@type builds and new product introductions.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, quality, and documentation.
Maintain accurate records, work instructions, and production documentation.
Partner with engineers and technicians to solve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.
Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and process optimization efforts.
Follow cleanroom procedures and maintain proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
What We're Looking For
Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for learning.
Enjoys working with tools, equipment, electronics, or mechanical systems.
Experience building, repairing, or troubleshooting devices such as computers, phones, printers, automobiles, motorcycles, drones, gaming systems, or other technical equipment is highly valued.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics, or a willingness to learn.
Hands-on experience using basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
Military technical experience, vocational training, internship, co-op, or manufacturing experience.
Experience assembling, testing, repairing, or maintaining mechanical or electro-mechanical equipment.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
Experience in semiconductor, electronics, cleanroom, or high-tech manufacturing environments is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilton, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
