Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift Job Description
As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role as the mechanical expert, supporting the production team with millwright-@type responsibilities. Your primary duties include ensuring that production and support equipment operate smoothly, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with any necessary repairs or adjustments.
Responsibilities
Ensure production and support equipment are functioning properly.
Perform preventative maintenance procedures on motors, conveyor systems, filling equipment, and other industrial machinery or facilities needs.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, making repairs or adjustments as needed.
Perform basic electrical duties, such as replacing motors and switches, with assistance from industrial electricians or PLC programmers for complex situations.
Conduct package changeovers on production lines as required.
Train team members on mechanical processes.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards.
Focus on continuous improvement within the team and operation.
Essential Skills
Mechanical expertise in a millwright-@type role.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery.
Proficient in reading schematics and diagrams.
Experience with conveyor and high-speed manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of mechanical processes, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum age of 18 years old.
High school diploma, GED, or 2-4 years of related experience and/or training.
Proficient knowledge in the operation of continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or a flexible schedule as required.
Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance and ensure the safety and security of company assets.
Frequent walking, grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation, and exposure to chemicals, water, and noise.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.
