As the first dedicated marketing hire for this business, you will establish our market presence and demand-generation strategy with leading AI labs and organizations developing advanced foundation models. You will operate across product marketing, field marketing, ecosystem development, content and executive communications to define how EPAM Systems presents its capabilities.
This zero-to-one role requires an entrepreneurial mindset to build a new marketing motion from the ground up. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will harness our engineering talent, enterprise experience and global reach to create a differentiated story. A major focus will be determining how we show up across the ecosystem at key research conferences like NeurIPS and ICLR, translating technical concepts into credible content for researchers and technical buyers.

Responsibilities
Own positioning and messaging for EPAM's Frontier AI business and its portfolio of model training, evaluation and post-training services
Develop high-quality sales materials - including pitch decks, customer narratives and technical one-pagers - that resonate with AI researchers and technical program leaders
Build EPAM's presence within the AI research ecosystem by identifying partnerships and leading our participation at major industry conferences
Create targeted, high-value field marketing activations around priority accounts and research communities to deepen strategic relationships and support active opportunities
Establish an external voice and content strategy that helps EPAM technical leaders build authentic presence through social media and industry forums
Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive market by tracking changes in frontier model research priorities to inform offering development and investment
Partner with sales and technical subject matter experts to support pipeline generation and develop account-specific messaging for named campaigns
Requirements
Five or more years of experience in B2B marketing within AI, machine learning, developer infrastructure or another highly technical market
Location in the San Francisco Bay Area with the ability to operate effectively across a global organization
Track record of translating highly technical capabilities into compelling narratives and market-facing content for sophisticated audiences
Experience designing and executing field marketing programs, customer events or account-based activations
Understanding of the generative AI and foundation model ecosystem, including major labs and research themes
Clear communication skills with strong editorial judgment to create content appropriate for technical audiences
History of partnering closely with sales and technical teams to support pipeline generation and strategic pursuits

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training, the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $130,000-$170,000 USD. This position is also eligible for variable compensation incentives.
