Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for menu items following standard procedures
Cook and plate menu items accurately and efficiently
Assist with the development of new menu items and specials
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications
Previous experience in a culinary role preferred
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding quality standards
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting

Nice-to-have Skills:
Culinary experience - Food service background
Catering knowledge
Menu planning skills
Proficiency in food preparation techniques
Familiarity with dietary requirements and restrictions
Experience working in a dietary department
Knife handling expertise
