As an Electrical Engineer, you will conduct a broad range of inspection, engineering, and supervisory tasks to support in-house testing, installation, start-up, and service/repair of industrial equipment. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of motor-controlled hydraulic and pneumatic industrial machines.
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections, engineering assessments, and supervisory tasks for industrial equipment.
Perform in-house testing, installation, start-up, and service/repair of a full range of industrial machinery.
Troubleshoot PLCs and assist with the installation of new equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints accurately.
Write project plans, test plans, and equipment manuals.
Communicate effectively to assist companies with equipment installations.
Essential Skills
Field Service Engineering experience with motor-controlled hydraulic and pneumatic industrial machines.
Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Strong communication skills for assisting with installations and documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS Degree in Engineering is preferred.
Experience with mechanical-hydraulic, pneumatic systems, electrical-PLC, motor controls, and sensors.
Ability to travel extensively, up to 70% both domestically and internationally, with trips ranging from a few days to 6 weeks.
Work Environment
When not traveling, you will work onsite with a Field Service team in an office setting. During travel, environments vary from international sites in China, Japan, and India, which may present language barriers and hot, dirty industrial conditions, to various safe locations across the US. Primary clients are foundries, and travel assignments can last from a few days to six weeks. The company offers training experiences, excellent benefits, profit sharing, and bonus plans.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $33.65/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
