Job Title: Deco 3rd Shift - General Production Worker Job Description

This entry-level role focuses on packing small tubes of icing into boxes, sealing the boxes, and supporting general production activities in a climate-controlled food manufacturing facility on the 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

Pack small tubes of icing into boxes accurately and efficiently.

Seal boxes securely to meet production and quality standards.

Perform general production and general labor tasks as assigned.

Lift, move, and stack materials weighing up to 40 pounds as needed.

Stand for extended periods while performing production duties.

Follow written and verbal directions consistently and accurately.

Participate in on-the-job training and apply new skills to daily tasks.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for all scheduled shifts.

Support a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with facility guidelines.

Essential Skills

Ability to perform general labor and general production tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Capability to lift up to 40 pounds safely and repeatedly.

Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire shift.

Reliability with strong attendance and punctuality.

Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and production needs.

Ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.

Willingness and ability to learn and train on new tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with lifting, stacking, packing, or similar physical work is helpful but not required.

Prior exposure to production or manufacturing environments is a plus.

Comfort working overnight hours on a consistent 3rd shift schedule.

Work Environment

The role is based in a climate-controlled food manufacturing facility designed to maintain consistent and comfortable working conditions. Employees work on the 3rd shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through the week, and spend most of the shift standing while performing packing, stacking, and general production tasks. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork, with structured processes and training to support efficient and reliable production.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
