Position Information

SEARCH has immediate opening for a Full-Time Billing Specialist to join our accounting team. The position can be remote, hybrid, or office going depending on candidate preference and location.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule

Review billing data for completeness and resolve discrepancies before processing

Maintain billing records

Monitor aging reports and support collections efforts as needed

Respond to internal and external inquiries related to billing and account status

Collaborate with Project Controllers to ensure correct billable information

Assist with month-end closing activities related to revenue and billing

Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement best practices

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

Will accept Associates with two years' work experience.

Strong understanding of billing workflows, invoicing, and basic accounting principles

Experience with Cost Point Deltek (not required but preferred)

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, data validation helpful)

This position will require flexible availability outside of standard working hours.
