Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support front-desk operations for a contract position based in California. This role serves as a key point of contact for visitors and callers, helping create an organized and welcoming office environment. The ideal candidate is courteous, dependable, and comfortable managing a busy phone system while handling daily administrative tasks with accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests and direct them to the appropriate staff members or departments in a courteous and efficient manner.

Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, routing inquiries accurately and taking clear messages when needed.

Provide timely assistance to callers by answering general questions and escalating matters to the correct contact when appropriate.

Maintain an orderly reception area and help ensure the front office reflects an organized appearance at all times.

Support routine administrative activities such as scheduling, basic recordkeeping, and distributing incoming correspondence.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure visitors, deliveries, and front-desk requests are handled smoothly throughout the day. Requirements - Prior experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or customer-facing administrative role.

Ability to operate a multi-line phone system and manage a high volume of inbound calls effectively.

Strong verbal communication skills with a service-oriented approach.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Proficiency with basic office software and standard administrative tools.
