As a Armed Security Officer Access Control in Adelanto, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with established procedures.

Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation; communicate access concerns and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, controlled areas, the business, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

Possess a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
