You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.

Monitor and control access to designated areas, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain awareness of movement throughout the assigned location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.

Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
