As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, and assisting with the inspection of people and property. You will maintain a visible presence, help identify potential security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. Pay Rate: $16.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.

Screen authorized personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with site procedures.

Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment, reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
