Quality Technician

Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the Meat division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Melrose Park, IL

Pay Range: $24

Shift: 3rd shift (10pm - 6am, Monday to Friday)

What's the Job?

Ensure all incoming raw materials are clean and in sanitary condition.

Verify the food safety of all incoming raw materials.

Check lot numbers on containers versus received certificates of analysis.

Sample all incoming ingredients and packaging according to written procedures and maintain sampling records.

Test incoming raw materials according to current specifications and verify Kosher status of ingredients.

No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to follow written procedures accurately.

Willingness to support other shifts when needed.
