About the Opportunity
We are seeking customer-focused individuals to join a growing customer support team. In this role, you will assist participants by phone and email, help resolve account and website-related concerns, provide guidance on available programs, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with call center experience who enjoys helping others and solving problems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service and strive for first-call resolution.
Handle inbound phone calls, email requests, and escalated customer inquiries.
Assist participants with registration, login, and account access issues.
Guide users through website navigation and online resources.
Answer questions regarding available programs and applications within a private online portal.
Partner with internal teams to resolve non-routine or escalated issues.
Support participants by completing surveys and collecting information over the phone.
Accurately document customer interactions and follow established procedures.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year of call center experience.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong attention to detail and active listening skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Comfortable working in multiple computer systems and navigating the internet.
Flexible and willing to work overtime as needed.
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
Must reside within one hour of the Indianapolis office.
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a technical call center or customer support environment.
Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are highly encouraged to apply and will receive priority consideration.
Experience assisting customers through written communication, including email support.
Training Information
Mandatory Onsite Training
Dates: September 21 - October 2
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Training will remain onsite for approximately four weeks, or until employees are fully prepared to work independently.
Hybrid Work Environment
After successful completion of training and readiness evaluation:
Work remotely with 2 required onsite days per week.
Some employees may spend additional time onsite before transitioning to hybrid.
Contractors must maintain onsite attendance throughout the assignment as required.
Home Office Requirements
Dedicated private workspace with a door.
Ability to hardwire company equipment directly to the internet (Wi-Fi only is not permitted).
Remote work cannot be used as a substitute for childcare.
Available Shifts
Permanent schedules are assigned upon offer acceptance and do not change.
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
