Job Description:
This position supports the development and execution of enterprise AI strategy by identifying, assessing, and advancing high-value AI and Agentic AI opportunities across the organization. In partnership with business, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders, the role contributes to use case scoping, governance and risk evaluation, vendor diligence, and strategic prioritization of AI initiatives. The position also plays a key role in strengthening enterprise AI enablement and supporting the continued evolution of Northwell's AI governance and advisory capabilities.

While the position will support a range of AI governance and operational activities, success in the role will be especially dependent on the candidate's strength in the areas outlined below, which reflect the most critical and evolving aspects of the position.
AI Strategy, Use Case Development & Prioritization
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading AI strategy development and execution, including identifying opportunities for AI adoption, shaping strategic priorities, and helping move initiatives from concept through evaluation and implementation.
- Strong ability to assess, scope, and prioritize AI and Agentic AI use cases in partnership with business stakeholders, including defining functional goals, operational impact, feasibility, and end- state experience.
- Strong analytical ability to evaluate AI opportunities across key dimensions such as business value, strategic alignment, implementation complexity, risk, cost, and organizational readiness.
AI Opportunity Assessment
- Experience conducting or supporting AI opportunity and use case analysis through a risk and governance lens, including evaluating proposed AI solutions for business fit, organizational impact, security, compliance, ethical considerations, and alignment with enterprise governance standards.
- Demonstrated skill in helping stakeholders navigate AI intake, governance, and solutioning processes, including preparing documentation, clarifying requirements, and supporting progression through review and approval forums.
Vendor Evaluation & Enterprise Enablement
- Experience performing AI vendor diligence and third-party solution assessments, including market research, competitive analysis, technology reviews, business requirements analysis, and commercial or cost modeling.
- Ability to advise departments and operational teams on meaningful adoption of enterprise AI tools, including identifying 'quick win' opportunities and surfacing more strategic use cases for advanced AI solutions.
Strategic Program Growth Through Executive Collaboration
- Experience developing executive-level materials, presentations, and strategic analyses that support AI governance committees, leadership forums, and enterprise decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executive, business, clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to help advance AI priorities, inform strategic direction, and support the growth of enterprise AI programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex AI, governance, risk, and strategy concepts into clear recommendations that enable leadership alignment and action.
Job Responsibility
Collaborates with senior leadership to identify prospective partners to ensure health system's strategic, sustainable growth, through the creation of strategicalliances with like-minded and culturally aligned providers in key market areas.
Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities, mutual goals/objectives, and strategic alliances.
Recognizes opportunities to collaborate in the development of innovative solutions to reduce costs and achieve operational efficiencies.
Evaluates new initiatives based on their projected impact on organization operations, financial standing, and market position; recognizesprogram expansion opportunities and interfaces with internal stakeholders to recommend growth initiatives.
Serves as technical advisor to management as needed; Collaborates with internal stakeholders to organize and analyze information related to business models for new initiatives.
Provides technical guidance in terms of evaluating the likely financial impact of proposed new services; works with the leadership to establishinfrastructure, identify resources, setup and operationalize initiatives.
Assist in identifying strategic partners. Serves as liaison and fosters communication between organizations as applicable.
Develops and determines priorities, and monitors status of initiatives to ensure that they are achieving expected goals and objectives; assists in managingsmall to medium sized project budgets by providing continued support in preparation and allocation of funds.
Assists in implementation of Human Resources plans to achieve strategic goals and objectives including organizational development, recruiting,compensation, training and development, and employee engagement and relations; ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulatoryrequirements and Joint Commission standards.

Job Qualification
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education andrelated experience.

The salary range for this position is $121200.00-$212100.00/year
