JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Operations Manager plays an essential role in
overseeing the execution of concrete construction projects, ensuring
they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This
position involves coordinating teams, managing resources, and serving as
the primary point of contact between project stakeholders and on-site
activities. By maintaining a clear line of communication and applying a
deep understanding of concrete construction techniques, the Operations
Manager ensures that project specifications are met with the highest
standards of quality and safety. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare job
sites by clearing debris, grading surfaces and setting up work areas
Oversee the daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that all
work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety
standards, and building codes. Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of
materials, ensuring that the necessary concrete and other materials are
available on-site when needed to avoid delays. Manage the concrete
pouring process, including formwork installation, reinforcement
placement, and concrete placement, to ensure quality and efficiency.
Supervise and direct the activities of the concrete crew, including
laborers and subcontractors, providing guidance and resolving issues as
they arise. Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to
specifications, identifying any defects or deviations and implementing
corrective actions. Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers,
and clients to provide updates on project progress, discuss challenges,
and adjust plans as necessary. Implement and enforce safety protocols on
the construction site, conducting regular safety inspections and
meetings to prevent accidents and injuries. Perform administrative
duties, such as preparing reports, maintaining records of work progress,
and documenting change orders and project variations. Execute
construction of temporary molds to hold concrete during the curing
process Ensure safety, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of installations
Concrete mix design with proportions of cement, water, aggregates, and
additives to achieve proper strength and durability Reinforcement
detailing with specifications and drawings for structures Ensure all
placement, @type, and size of reinforcing materials comply with project
manager(s) Pour sequencing for order and timing of concrete pours-
concrete behavior, weather conditions, and crew coordination Optimize
resources and reduce downtime with integrity and adherence to project
schedules Maintain quality control and safety compliance **
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualification Possesses extensive
hands-on experience in construction projects with materials, techniques,
and project management Leadership experience with leading crew teams and
able to work as a team or independently Previous construction or
concrete experience preferred but not required Ability to read and
understand tape measures along with following verbal and written
instructions Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment Strong
work ethic with a willingness to learn Dependable attendance and
punctuality Valid drivers license and in good standing, CDL a plus
Physical Requirements Ability with physically demanding regularly body
movements of stand, bend, squat, and walking for extended periods
Workspaces are vast and open that are subject to all @types of weather
conditions-including extreme temperatures and elements Able to work
accurately with vision including close vision and computer work Ability
to lift and carry heavy weighted objects occasionally (50-100 lbs)
Ability to operate safely operate hand and power tools along with large
