As a Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $21.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Fri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.

Monitor access points, visitor activity, and employee entrances in accordance with site procedures; maintain accurate logs and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential concerns.

Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.

Possess at least one year of security-related experience.

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
