Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Leominster MA

Wednesday 830 AM-545 PM and Saturday 8 AM - 5 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officer in Leominster, MA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Wed08:30 AM - 05:45 PM

Sat08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at transportation-related locations.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, perimeter areas, and assigned exterior locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Respond to incidents, roadway-related events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.

Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity, damaged property, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policy, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
