Lead Medical Coordinator

Job Description

Coordinate team based medical care for the children placed in the center.

Prepare, compile, submit, and maintain accurate medical records, files, forms, statistics, and additional relevant information in accord with agency policy, licensing and/or funding requirements.

Review ORR portal for compliance with medical information upload requirements and ensure updates are input as needed for safety and timely discharge.

As appropriate, provide sponsors, family members and clients with medial updates.

Actively participate in medical and service-related resource development prior to children's discharge.

Participate in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating all medical needs of the children for designated social service program(s).

Establish and maintain partnership with medical care providers.

Provide documented information related to identified delays in the medical assessments.

Attend scheduled meetings and participate in team decisions and operations to represent the medical needs of the children.

Coordinate medical resources for all employees and resource family homes

Adhere to Child Abuse and reporting requirements.

Compensation: $80k - 88K Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years working experience in child welfare.

1+ years of employment in public health or a healthcare setting with demonstrated experience in care coordination, health administration, or direct clinical care.

Must be at least 21 years of age and have a Valid Driver License

Education/ Experience:

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a bachelor's degree or a higher health-related qualification Language Ability: Bilingual in Spanish requested but not required.
